Cool photos Emily. The first couple remind me of Florence & The Machine for some reason hehe. I'm not exactly sure why but the third shot is my favourite shot. Its not as blown out as the fourth photo is (her face is a little too bright mixed with the black background for me). The focus isn't pin point all over and that's one of the reasons I like the third shot but the off focus is more visible and a lot more distracting in the last two (ie focused more on her shirt than her face while closer to the lens). You could benifit from this by closing down the aperture to say something like F/11-F/16 so the drop off isn't as bad or just chaning the focus point to her chin/lips.
