Western Afternoon

This series was taken last year during a trip out West to Roma. The whole week was spent just relaxing and living like the "county folk" do. These three photos were taken on the trip home – the sun was starting to set and the air seemed fresh from the afternoon rain…was one of those moments you think to yourself, “man it’s good to be alive” :)

These photos where taken last year, next to my bedroom window in Burleigh. Every afternoon after my swim in the beach I would come home, eat some macadamia nuts, have a shower…and then when I would walk into my bedroom I would be taken back by the pure beauty of the sun setting though the window and how it lightened the room and my skin in a very comforting and warming way…. these kind of moments are what make me thank (whoever it is) that I’m - alive, healthy and happy….therefore I thought it would be stupid of me not to try and capture this feeling. SO for most of you, you probably wont be able to “feel” what I was feeling but at least you will have a bit of understanding as to why I have these overly orange photographs of myself on my blog…THE END.
